About Payment
- How is payment handled? |top|
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
If you are receiving therapy services, many insurance companies will reimburse you directly for their part of the bill. This depends on your policy. We will help you determine your coverage.
If you have coverage for outpatient psychotherapy, you may be required to pay a deductible before reimbursement can begin. Afterward, insurance will cover some portion of the fee for each session. We will provide you with a monthly claim form listing the dates and fees of your sessions. You submit this to your insurance company for reimbursement.
- Who completes the insurance form? |top|
Our office staff will complete an insurance claim form once a month if you are using insurance benefits.
- What if I have to cancel an appointment? |top|
We will be happy to reschedule if you notify us 24 hours in advance for therapy sessions. Without this notice, you will be charged the usual fee for your appointment, except in cases of emergency.
- What about cancellations due to weather? |top|
In severe weather, call the office for information about closing. Sometimes you may opt to have a phone session if weather is prohibitive (this will be billed at the usual fee). There is no charge for cancelled sessions when snow emergency plans are in effect.
